Professor Sauer Elected President of the North American Association of Sports Economics Jul 4, 2011
Raymond Sauer, Professor and Chair of The John E. Walker Department of Economics, has been elected president of the North American Association of Sports Economics. NAASE is the primary organization supporting research in the economics of sports, and organizes conferences
for faculty and students to present and discuss their research in conjunction with a number of leading economic associations across the U.S. and Europe.
Professor Sauer will serve as president-elect of the association for 2011-12, and president for 2012-13.
