PhD Student Anna Chorniy to Participate in 5th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences Apr 18, 2014
Economics PhD Student Anna Chorniy will attend the 5th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences. The Lindau Meetings were created in 1951 to facilitate dialouge between different generations of scientists. Nobel Laureates and the world's most promising young researchers are brought together in Lindau Germany to engage in discussion together. The 5th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences will be held this August. Nineteen Nobel Laureates including Peter Diamond, Robert Mundell, Alvin Roth, and Vernon Smith are among those who will take part.
Anna was selected as Clemson's nominee for the 2014 meetings, and was invited earlier this month to participate as a young researcher by the Lindau Review Panel. More information about the meeting can be obtained at the organization's web page.
