Bryson Smith wins Trevillian Award, Headed to Yale May 1, 2011
Bryson Smith, a senior majoring in Economics (BA), is the 2011 recipient of the Wallace Dabney Trevillian Award of Merit from the College of Business and Behavioral Science. The award is named after the founding Dean of the College, and is traditionally given to a student with the highest order of academic accomplishment in the college. Bryson was a regular member of the informal economics reading group throughout his undergraduate career. Faculty in the Economics Department knew all along that Bryson was an exceptional student. He was inducted into Clemson's Phi Beta Kappa chapter as a junior in 2010, and this year was accepted into every law school where he applied. In the fall of 2011 he will continue his studies at Yale Law School.
